To chart out strategy of the party, BJP’s two-day ‘chintan baithak’ began at Kasauli. Chintan baithak was headed by the state BJP president Satpal Satti, former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal, state general secretary Dr Rajeev Bindal, MPs Virender Kashyap and Anurag Thakur, Dr Rajiv Sehzal, Randhir Sharma, Suresh Bhardwaj, Ravinder Ravi, Praveen Sharma and Virender Kanwar, and many other party office bearer were present in the meeting.
Party leaders discussed the issue of revamping the organisational structure in view of the next year’s general elections and the byelection of the Mandi Parliamentary seat. Leaders also discussed the reason of defeat in the assembly election in this ‘chintan baithak.’
