Manali: A 33-year-old Russian woman was allegedly raped by two unidentified men on Thursday night. Victim was on her way to Hadimba temple.
In her Police complaint victim mentioned that two men assaulted her, one of them was a local youth who accompanied her to the guest house where she is staying.
She complained that she was forcefully dragged into vehicle and drove her off to an isolated place between Hadimba Temple and Old Manali where she was raped.
SP Kullu, Shalini Agnihotri stated that police have registered a case and formed three teams to identify and nab the perpetrators. She said the medical examination of the victim was carried out today and DNA samples had been collected. The SP added that the concerned Embassy had been informed.
Woman had arrived in the Manali last week, as a part of a research group.
