During Manali visit, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal lays foundation stone of Press Room at Manali. Emphasising the importance of journalism and role of journalists, Prem Kumar Dhumal said that the State Government had always maintained cordial relations with the journalists and various facilities were being extended to them from time to time to enable them discharge their duties in right perspective.
Chief Minister announced financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakh for construction of Press Room at Manali. Khimi Ram, MLA and President, State BJP, Govind Thakur, MLA Kishori Lal, MLA Ani, Chander Sen Thakur, Ex MLA, Dhaneshwari Thakur, Chairperson, State Women Commission, Dharamvir Dhami, Senior BJP Leader and other prominent persons were present on the occasion.
