Waknaghat/Solan: The NSS unit of Bahra University, Shimla, organized a blood donation camp, where students, teaching and non-teaching staff participated, here today. A total of 105 units of blood was collected at the camp.
Two teams of doctors led by Dr Gagan Dillon, Blood Bank Officer, Kamla Nehru Hospital, and Dr Anita Lohia, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Shimla, supervised the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof S.K Bansal Pro Chancellor Bahra University highlighted the importance of blood donation and also inspired students to josuch social cause.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Daljit Singh lauded the role of the NSS unit of the university and suggested that conducting of more such camps to benefit the society.
