Ayurvedic hospitals

New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh Government has decided to open Homoeopathic OPDs in all the Ayurvedic hospitals of the state.

Ayurveda Minister Karan Singh, in International Convention held at Vigyan Bhawan today, stated the Himachal was herbal state and Homeopathy was fast catching the attention of the people in the State.

The Minister revealed that wellness Clinics for senior citizens would be started in all districts with special focus on diabetes, hypertension, joint diseases and prostatic health. He said that the State Government would start homoeopathic clinics in all Combined Secretariat Buildings and all major towns of the State.

Karan Singh said that HRTC, HPPCL and HPTDC would be asked to facilitate holding of regular homoeopathic camps. Homoeopathic Medical Officers would be involved in public health initiative and treatment camps in schools and anganwadis.

During the Convention, Karan Singh had also put forth his plans to strengthen AYUSH services in the State. He said that Government was going to introduce system of Siddha in the State very soon along with special attention on Yoga and Sowa Rigpa, the traditional Tibetan System.
