The State Level Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SLSWC & MA) approved four new proposals for setting up of industrial projects in the State in its 47th meeting held here today.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh presided over the meeting.
The Authority approved 11 expansion/ diversification proposals of the existing units with combined proposed investment of Rs. 22895.74 lakh with expected employment opportunity to 1137 persons.
The new proposals approved by the Authority includes proposals of M/S Key Technocasts, which has proposed to invest Rs. 96.24 lakh with employment potential to eight persons for setting up on Mollten Metal, Cast Iron Casting and S.G. Iron Casting, M/S Shri Mahadev Pyrolysis Pvt. Ltd., which has proposed to invest Rs. 111.50 lakh with employment potential to 14 persons for setting up of Light Diesel Oil (F.O.), M/S Zira Foods which has proposed to invest Rs. 1802.50 lakh with employment potential to 120 persons for setting of Integrated Controlled Atmosphere Cold Storage and M/S Natural Beverages (A unit of M/S Himachal Plywood Pvt. Ltd.) which has proposed to invest Rs. 948.20 lakh with employment potential to 90 persons for setting of Carbonated Soft Drinks.
The expansion/diversification proposals include the M/S Dabur India Ltd., (Green Field Unit), which has proposed to invest Rs. 4072.64 lakh with employment potential to 375 persons for additional product Hajmola under Ayurvedic category and expansion of Chywanprash products capacity at existing Green Filed Unit), M/S Lectrix Motors Limited which has proposed to invest Rs. 1675.00 lakh with employment potential to 180 persons for setting up of an industrial undertaking for the manufacture of Assembly, finishing and packing of Lead Acid Batteries (For automotive and other application), M/S Jupiter Solar Power Ltd. who has proposed to invest Rs. 3987.59 lakh with employment potential to 80 persons for manufacturing of Solar Cells.
Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Chief Secretary P. Mitra, Additional Chief Secretary V.C. Pharka, Additional Chief Secretary Vineet Chaudhary, Principal Secretary Revenue Tarun Sridhar, Principal Secretary Finance Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Principal Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman, Director Industries Rajender Singh, Advisor Industries Rajender Chauhan and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
