Three persons were washed away when the Jahu Bridge at border of Mandi & Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh washed away due to flash floods early morning today.
Victims were trying to cross the bridge, but due to the strong water current bridge swept away along with them. Victims have not been identified yet, but local administration has launched an operation to reach for them.
Incessant rains from last night has wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, Kangra and Hamirpur districts, triggering landslides and disrupting traffic.
A massive landslide has also been reported near Pandoh Dam, which has forced to stop vehicular movement on Mandi Kullu highway.
Flood water is also reported inundated many parts of Mandi town as well.
