Una: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today paid a sudden visit to Zonal Hospital, Una and enquired into the well being of the patients. He visited different wards and issued necessary directions to the authorities and PWD department.
The Chief Minister assured for construction of another building/ block of the hospital which would facilitate the people of the area and also asked for improving sanitary conditions. He also directed the medical authorities to submit a report regarding the cases referred from Una Zonal hospital during last three months.
Later, while addressing the members of the Bar Council, he said that they should maintain the dignity and sanctity of the profession as they had responsibility for bringing the culprits into the book and provide justice to the honest.
He announced a sum of Rs. three lakh for Bar Council, Una in addition to Rs. Two lakh he had announced earlier.
Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Chairman State Finance Commission Kuldeep Kumar, District Congress President Virendar Dharmani and other prominent persons were present on the occasion.
