The Ministry of Human Resource and Development had approved Rs. 262 crore to the State for the financial year 2014-15 under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan.
A State Government spokesman, in a press communique, revealed that the Ministry had approved budget of Rs. 230 crore under Integrated Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) for this financial year to the State.
The Ministry had also agreed to include additional budget under quality plan thereby the actual approval would be in the range of Rs. 280 to Rs. 290 crore.
Government spokesman said that State Government has been emphasizing on covering all the Senior Secondary Schools in the State under ICT School Programme and 100 new Senior Secondary Schools would be covered under Vocational Education during current financial year.
