Protesting against the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh remark for opposition members, BJP again didn’t attend the Vidhan Sabha. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh accused the Opposition for failing in its duty by not participating in the Assembly debate.
Virbhadra said it was unfortunate that the BJP legislature party had decided to take the session so lightly and had not taken part in important debates, including the one on the Budget and the Governor’s Address.
Chief Minister said that he has already requested opposition members in a civil manner to attend the session. He said that the BJP had not just let down the people who had voted for them, but also wasted government money. The information concerning their questions had been collected, but the queries could not be taken up due to their absence from the House.
Chintpurni legislature Kuldeep Kumar raised the question of work of the road in his constituency and Kullu legislature Maheshwar Singh raised question over the Pulse scam in the house. Replying over the action taken in Pulse scam, Chief Minister revealed that the disciplinary proceedings in the case had been completed against two officials of the Food and Civil Supplies Corporation after the Vigilance found some manipulation in the e-tender.
