After returning from two days visit to tribal district of Lahaul-Spiti, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh reached Narkanda in district Shimla today evening. He was given a rousing reception at Narkanda by the people and Congress Party workers.
Earlier, Irrigation and Public Health Minister Vidya Stokes welcomed the Chief Minister at Shilaroo on his first visit to the area after becoming Chief Minister of the State for sixth time.
Chief Minister was greeted by the people in large number at various places en-route Shilaroo to Narkanda.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Nand Lal, District Congress Committee (Rural) President Kehar Singh Khachi, PCC Member Vijay Pal Khachi, Director, APEDA, Prakash Thakur, former DCC President Sudhir Bhaik, Chairman, Notified Area Committee, Kumarsain Om Prakash Sharma, Member BoD, Tourism, Ramesh Kamal, Chairman, HP State Agriculture Rural Development Bank Devi Singh Jistu, Deputy Commissioner, Dinesh Malhotra and other senior officers and prominent persons of the area accompanied the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister will lay foundation stones and inaugurate various developmental works in Shimla Rural Assembly constituency on 19th May, 2013 besides addressing public meeting at Jalog.
