Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has convened general house on March 16, in which major organizational changes are expected following the appointment of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu as state president.
It is learned that AICC general secretary and state party in charge Chaudhary Birender Singh would be present in the meeting along with chief minister Virbhadra Singh and other senior Congress leaders. Though, after the appointment of Thakur Sukhvinder Singh as a state party president there wasn’t any change in the organizational set up, but in this general house it’s expecting that major reshuffle will take place. Congress also claims to follow the principle of one post and if party stick to it, then many ministers, chairmen and vice-chairmen are expected to relinquish their party posts to pave way for new appointments.
