Former Minister for IPH and BJP MLA, Dehra, Ravinder Singh Ravi has threatened to launch a state-wide agitation if the present government failed to protect the interests of Pong Dam oustees.
In a press conference at Dharamsala, BJP leader said that about 30,000 Pong Dam oustees had settled in areas around the lake when their houses and lands were submerged under the lake. He asked state Govt to protect the interests of the oustees and threaten with the state-wide agitation if Govt failed to do so.
He also blamed Congress government for not taking any constructive decision after assuming power in the last two months. Instead, it was just reversing developmental decisions taken by the previous government.
