Senior BJP leader and former Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) Minister Ravinder Ravi accused Virbhadra Singh for discriminating against Kangra district in development matters. He accused Singh for not releasing funds for projects, which was initiated by the previous BJP led government.

In a press conference at Palampur, Ravi said the Congress government had failed to bring any new project for Kangra district and development activities in the district had virtually stalled. BJP leader said that the condition of state roads and highways passing though this region had gone from bad to worse since the Congress was voted to power.
