Himachal Pradesh Congress leaders State Agriculture Minister Sujan Singh Pathania and Housing and Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma have ridiculed the reported remarks of former BJP minister and senior leader Ravinder Singh Ravi, in which he had remarked that the present government has failed on all fronts and was busy with mass transfers of employees.
Congress leaders have stated that such statements only reflect his frustration. They claimed that the process of mass transfer of employees was initiated by the previous BJP led Govt and was totally on the basis of “biased political considerations”. Congress leaders said that BJP leader should know that after the change in government certain changes were necessary in the administrative set up.
These leaders said that previous BJP Govt had done injustice with Kangra district and in their tenure; no major development was not taken place. They alleged that apart from the mass transfers of employees, previous BJP government had shifted various institutions from the district to nearby Hamirpur district. They alleged that they did it just to get some political mileage but in the assembly election people of Kangra have given them befitting reply. They claimed that present Congress party led state government is committed for the overall development and would take decisions in the interest of common man.
Sujan Singh Pathania and Sudhir Sharma are from Kangra District, where Congress party has received overwhelming response from the electorates in the assembly election and thus managed to win ten out if fifteen assembly seats.
