In the inauguration function of two-day cultural festival “Utkarsh” organised by the University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT), HPU Vice-Chancellor ADN Bajpai stated that Himachal Pradesh University will explore the possibility of collaborative understanding with reputed information technology (IT) institutes to ensure better and latest advancements and research in the field.
He said an MoU would be signed with IT institutes in Allahabad and Jabalpur and suggested that the UIIT should start its own research journal to give impetus to activities being conducted in the institution. The Vice-Chancellor said during the 12 years of its existence, this institute has earned a name in the Northern region.
