For the forthcoming assembly election, Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP), CPM, CPI have announced to fight election together and formed third front which is named Himachal Lok Morcha (HLM). In today’s meeting at Kalibadi hall, Shimla, members of HLP, CPM and CPI has announced their common minimum programme and hoping to play major role in the assembly election.
In their common minimum programme (CMP), these parties have presented 20 basic points. In its CMP, HLM have tried to cover every section of the society and drafted every possible issue, which had been raised in the past as well. These 20 promises includes Special status for Himachal Pradesh, which was taken away by the ninth financial commission, Forest Royalty, Better share in Electricity usages and more royalties, Employment, to solve the menace of stray animal for farmers, Quality Education, Better health facilities on door step, Food security for all, Tourism, Social justice by providing equal opportunity for all section of society, new and effective Retention Policy, policy to protect fragile Himalayan environment, Transfer policy, better road and transportation system, transparent mechanism for pensioner and employees and will implement revised pay scale for them as well.
Himachal Lok Morcha also offers goodies for the fruit growers and promised for the public investment in the horticulture sector. HLM also promised to make strong policy to regulate Govt encroached land.
In the meeting third front has also announced that doors are open for other like minded people under Himachal Lok Morcha. Most of leaders of all three parties were present at the meeting and also addressed its workers at Kalibadi hall.
