The Ayurveda Department has decided to cultivate medicinal plants on the premises of Hamirpur District Ayurvedic Hospital. These plants will be cultivated in a small garden of hospital.

Medicines made from these herbal plants will be used for indoor and outdoor patients of the hospital. Ayurvedic medicines are currently procured from the herbal garden of Neri or Ayurvedic Research Centre, Joginder Nagar in Mandi district.
