Out of four Branches of Kangra Central Co-operative Banks sanctioned for district Hamirpur, one would be opened at Kale Amb. This was disclosed by Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal while addressing the public meeting at Jamli, after inaugurating the newly constructed ‘Kamdhenu Bhawan’. The Chief Minister also performed Puja on the occasion of Gopashtami in Thakurdwara Gaushala Complex.
He said that the Government was ensuring equal and balanced development of all the area of the State and was mainly concentrating on the development of backward areas.
He said that India could be made Vishwaguru only if every citizen of the country comes forward to preserve its culture and deliver his services for welfare of the people. He said that de-gradation of social and moral values were the cause of concern as the people were deviating from there moral duties. He said that side-lining and over-looking the relations, leaving parents in isolation were the examples of declining moral and social values which were to be taken care of.
He said that Sub-Depot of Food and Civil Supplies would be opened in Jamli and the renovation of the roads leading towards Gaushala would also be done on priority. The Chief Minister congratulated the people of the State on eve of Gopashtami and performed Cow worship. Hakam Chand presented Rs. 11,000 towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund from the first salary of his son. Rasil Singh Mankotia, presented Rs. 11,222 towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on behalf of Gaushala. Jeet Ram from Bilaspur Truck Operator Union also presented Rs. One lakh as donation to Thakurdwara Gaushala. Rasil Singh Mankotia, President, Kangra Central Co-operative Bank welcomed the Chief Minister and thanked him for giving Rs.15 lakh for construction of Gaushala Bhawan.
