HP State Environment and Pollution Control Board contributed Rs. 2 lakh draft towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). Additional Chief Secretary S.Roy presented draft to Chief Minister. MLA Dr. Rajiv Saizal and Principal of the Government Senior Secondary School, Dharampur, district Solan, presented a draft of Rs. 5,100 towards the Fund.
Chief Minister thanked the Board and the teachers and students of the Government Senior Secondary School, Dharampur, for their valuable contribution which would go a long way in providing poor and needy financial assistance at the hour of distress. He said that the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund had been instrumental in saving precious lives of the thousands of people during past 45 months, who were economically poor and suffering from various critical diseases. He appealed to the people to come forward with their generous contribution towards the Fund so that more people could be helped to lead a strong and healthy life. He said that the contributions received under the Fund were exempted from income tax provisions.
