The Government of National Capital Territory (NCT), Delhi has contributed Rs Five Crore towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for undertaking Relief and Rehabilitation works in the rain and flood ravaged areas of the State.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit and people of Delhi for donating generously towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund and said that this would indeed go a long way in providing relief to the people in distress and undertaking restoration works on war footing.

Prestigious Auckland School, Shimla also contribute towards Chief Minister Relief Fund. Principal Auckland School, Shimla, Sunita John presented a cheque of Rs. Eighty-one thousand to Chief Minister. Students of the school also contributed Rs. Fifty-one thousand towards C.M. Relief Fund. Chief Minister thanked for their contributions and said that it would go a long way in providing relief to the poor and needy people.
