RTI activist Dev Ashish Bhattacharya in a meeting with Governor Urmila Singh submitted to her copies of information, he acquired by exercising his Right to Information (RTI) Act, which carries details of ministers’ assets and urged the Governor to compare these copies with the ones filed by the ministers while filing nominations for the Assembly poll.

He also urged her to direct the minister to file details of all their assets including assets held by their spouses and family members with supporting affidavits, which would then be compared to know the actual asset holdings of all ministers. Dev also informed that the Chief Minister too hasn’t declared his assets yet.
