Adding a new chapter to its glorious book, the 42-year-old, Himachal University is all set to have its own anthem (Kulgeet) and a research journal. Written by Rajender Mishr, a former vice-chancellor of Dr Sampoornanda Sanskrit University in Vanarasi, the anthem will be released by State Governor Urmila Singh on the 42nd foundation day of HPU to be held on July 22. Comprising of seven stanzas, the anthem written in Hindi and Sanskrit, speaks about the natural beauty of Himachal Pradesh, in 70-seconds.
