State Government is willing to develop Himachal’s natural beauty and looking to explore its every corner so that visitors could have various options to spend their holidays. Shimla, Manali Dharamshala and Chamba are already famous among the tourist and now government is providing assistance to district like Una, so that it can be developed as per the other district. Government has announces Rs. 6.15cr on creation of quality tourism infrastructural facilities under Una-Chintpurni-Bilaspur Circuit.
Una district had a number of heritage and off beat destinations which will be developed to attract maximum visitors thereby giving boost to tourism activities in the district. Separate tourism circuit had been carved out and named as Una-Chintpurni-Bilaspur circuit with a budget of Rs. 6.15 crore provided for the purpose. Government is emphasizing to develop parking slots, civic amenities, renovation of prominent religious shrines besides providing tourists with quality restaurants and other allied facilities.
In Una district, Chintpurni temple alone attract major religious tourist and government is planning to provide with the camping sites and 50 lakh for tourist reception centre at Chintpurni has been issued.
Additionally garbage waste management and disposal is planed to set up and Rs. 20 lakh has been adjusted in the budget besides spending Rs. 25 lakh on fencing, parks and illumination developments.
