In a shocking incident father shot his son on a minor incident. It happens at Chuli village near Renuka Jee in Sirmaur district, Ranvir Singh (60) allegedly shot his son Shamsher Singh (37) with a licensed single-barrel gun after an altercation over minor issue. It’s learned that Shamsher didn’t attend nephew’s wedding and it agitate Ranvir and converted into the nasty tussle which ended with the Shamsher’s life.
Police confirm the incident and said that Ranvir himself came to the police station and confess his crime. Police inquire that land distribution was the bone of contention between them and both were not getting along well. A case under Section 302, IPC, is registered. Police has also taken custody of murder weapon.
