As the preparation of Draft electoral rolls in respect of the conduct of Panchayati Raj Institutions elections in tribal areas of Udaipur and Keylong Sub-divisions of Lahaul and Spiti, Pangi Sub division of District Chamba and for Zila Parishad could not take place due to inclement weather conditions and problems in network connectivity for operation of the software, were now being prepared on 13th April, 2011. Spokesman of State Election Commission clear it. He also added that period for filing claims and objections would now be from 16th April, 2011 to 22nd April, 2011. He said that claims and objections would be decided from 23rd April, 2011 to 27th April, 2011, appeals can be filed within seven days from the passing of the orders by Revising Authority and it would be decided within seven days from the filing of appeals and the electoral roll would finally be published on 12th May, 2011.
