Director Health Services, Vinod Kumar Pathak announces that the State Government is committed to provide specialised and better health services to the people of the State and is going to organise special health camps on World Health Day i.e. 7th April, 2011 and on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, 2011 in slum, project and industrial areas of the State. He added that the aim behind holding such camps is to facilitate those living in indigent conditions and underprivileged.

The Camps would be held at Ghumarwin and Talai in district Bilaspur, in Zonal Hospital Chamba and Tissa, Nadaun and Jahu in Hamirpur district, Dharamsala, Kangra, Nurpur and Palampur in Kangra District, Reckong-Peo and Bhabanagar in Kinnaur District, Kullu and Manali in Kullu disrtict, Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district, Sahora Mohalla and Bhiuli in Mandi district, Krishana Nagar and Ruldu-Bhatta in Shimla district, Nahan and Paonta Sahib in district Sirmaur and Amb and Mehatpur in district Una.
