An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale was felt in several parts of Shimla, Kangra and Chamba at 3.20 pm today; the quake lasted for three seconds. Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan was reported as the epicenter of the earthquake. No loss of life or property is reported.
