Students from Himachal Pradesh will get 50 percent reservation in the ESI Medical College at Mandi. The newly constituted medical college will get its first batch in the coming academic session, and as of now it is gearing up for admissions. The Chief Minister keen to develop the state’s educational sector and is also in favour of introducing rich heritage of the country to the pupils. In this regard, the state government has introduced Yog education. Prof. Dhumal said that the government has allocated Rs. 2567 crores for the education sector for the current financial year, which comes to 17 percent of the total budgetary provision, a percentage that is the highest in the country. The HP government is also setting up selected educational counters in different disciplines, with a view towards providing world class education within the State.
