Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal dedicated new Ropeway-cum-Ski-Centre at world famous Solang valley to the nation. It’s connecting the ski-slopes at higher reaches. It’s constructed by Ski-Himalayas Ropeway in association with Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, it cost Rs. 36 crore.
Addressing a huge gathering at Solang Nallah, CM asserts that it’s another milestone had been added in the tourism development and will give a big boost to the tourism promotion in the world famous Kullu-Manali valley. He lauded the Ski-Himalaya Ropeway Pvt. Ltd. for constructing the first Ropeway in private sector to operate on BOT basis under PPP mode which would not only provide opportunity to people to enjoy the natural grandeur but also Skiing upon the slopes, atop the valley.
Arun Sharma, Managing Director of the Ski-Himalaya Ropeway Pvt. Ltd thanked CM for his contribution and lauded it as a ambitious project that attract more tourist and give world class tourism infrastructural facilities to them. Sharma also assured about the safety standards about the Ropeway project.
