Indian Handloom Technology Institute, Choukaghat, Varanasi has invited applications for three years Diploma Course in Handloom and Textile Technology for the session 2012-13. These application forms can be obtained from the Directorate of Industries Bemloie, Shimla-171001 and also from General Manager, Industries of all District Centres.
A spokesperson of Industry Department said here today that the applicant must have obtained 45 percent marks in Matric including 50 percent marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects. The SC/ST candidates would be given five percent relaxation as per norms. He said that applicants should be between 15 to 21 years of age as on 1st July, 2012. The Candidates are advised to bring all essential documents at the time of counselling. The applications should reach Directorate of Industries, Udyog Bhawan, Bemloie, Shimla-171001 before 13th May, 2012, he said.
He said that out of seven seats, four seats were reserved for General category candidates, one seat for SC candidate and two seats for candidates belonging to weaver community.
