To promote adventure sports and boost up tourism activities in the Lahaul and Spiti district Himachal Pradesh allowed river rafting in the remote Lahaul and Spiti region.
Official informed that the government opened Lahaul and Spiti area for river rafting water sports. It’ll be a good step to attract tourist to this remote area. Earlier, rafting was allowed in the Beas River in Kullu district and in the Sutlej River in Shimla district.
