Shimla: Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal blamed State Government for putting additional burden on the exchequer by appointing chairmen, vice-chairmen, advisors and officer on special duty (OSD).
In his press statement, Leader of Opposition said the government has failed to pay pensions and other financial benefits due to its regular employees; however, it’s adorning its close confidents with plum posts, which is putting extra burden on exchequer.
Dhumal stated that wrong policies were leading to the financial crises in the state. He said the government was managing its expenses on Green Development loan from World Bank.
Leader of Opposition slammed Virbhadra Government for failing to check pollution and crime in the state. He also criticized the proposed move of the government to start online lottery. Dhumal believed that it’ll have adverse impact on poor families.
BJP leader has also put question mark on the functioning of the Government and said that even after ban on transfers of government employees, a long list of transfer order was issuing on daily basis, because of that extra burden of TA and DA were pilling on exchequer. He also accused Government targeting officials.
