Mangwal: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh once again targeted HPCA and BJP as during his speech at Mangwal in Kangra district, he accused previous BJP government for allotting valuable land across the state on One rupee lease to the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) by ignoring all norms and regulations. He accused HPCA for converting from society to private company and stated termed that illegally.
Singh claimed that the Congress government was not against any sports organization but it was the duty of the government to ensure complete transparency in their functioning.
Chief Minister, who is at loggerhead with Prem Kumar Dhumal, his son over the issues of alleged corruption in HPCA, stated that the hostel for the players was converted in to a five star hotel, named the Pavilion and HPCA started commercial activities on this property which is not otherwise allowed on the leased land given for specific purpose.
Virbhadra Singh claimed that he always believed in clean and healthy politics and have never indulged in politics of vendetta and victimization of his political rivals. He also denied the allegations of opposition of political vendetta and victimization and accused BJP and Prem Kumar Dhumal for fabricated false cases against him in which he came out clean.
