Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his MP wife Pratibha Singh paid obeisance at Shri Raghunath jee, the principal deity of Kullu. The Kardars of the deity accorded warm welcome to the Chief Minister and Pratibha Singh. Singh and his wife are at Kullu to attend the historic International Kullu Dussehra festival.
Chief Minister also visited different stalls of exhibition set up by various government departments, boards, corporations and NGOs on the occasion of Dussehra festival.
Later, Virbhadra Singh and Pratibha Singh was honoured by Chairman-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Kullu by presenting them Himachali shawl, cap and memento at Lal Chand Prarthi Kala Kendra where Chief Minister was the Chief Guest on the occasion of cultural evening. Chief Minister also released Coffee Table Book ‘Kullu: The land of Gods and Goddesses’ brought out by Dussehra Committee, Kullu.
