State Civil Supplies Corporation mulling to add sweetness during the coming festival season as it has decided to provide 2 kg sugar per ration card to each ration card holder during the month of October through its godowns, retail and all fair price shops.
Food & Civil Supplies and Transport Minister G.S. Bali said that this decision would benefit about 16,99,000 ration card holders of the State. Bali said that the State Government was providing essential commodities, edible oil and iodised salt at subsidized rates to the consumers and the Government was committed to ensure its timely availability to the consumers.
