As per the reports, as many as five persons, including two women and a child were killed when a Balero jeep veered off the road while negotiating a sharp curve and fell into a gorge at Kyao, around four kilometres from Ghanvi in Rampur area of Shimla district today.
Governor Urmila Singh and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have expressed grief over the accident and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. Chief Minister directed the administrative authorities to provide all possible assistance to the next of kins who died in the mishap.
Meanwhile, SDM Rampur Dilip Negi rushed to accident site and distributed a sum of Rs. 15000 each to the next of the kin of the deceased as immediate relief.
