Army Boys Sports Company, 11 Gorkha Rifles, Regimental Centre, Lucknow is organising Talent Hunt for selecting boys at Shimla from 22nd to 27th April, 2013.
The Sports Company is looking for Gorkha Boys in Boxing, Football and Shooting and in shooting non-Gorkhas Boys would also be acceptable. He urged the interested candidates to report at Ground of 5 RAJPUT (Jatog Cantt., Jatog) on 22nd April between 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM, adding that no fresh candidates would be accepted after 23rd April during the Talent Hunt for conducting physical, game skill and medical test on subsequent dates.
He said that the age of candidates should be between 11 to 14 years and upper age limit may be relaxed upto 16 years in case of outstanding sportsman. The candidates of 12 years of age should have minimum 153cm height and 35 kg., weight, for 13 years old candidates’ minimum height should be 155 cm and 42 kg weight and 14 years old candidates should have minimum height of 160 cm and 47 kg of weight. The interested candidates are advised to bring certificate of date of birth, proof of residence, proof of class and school in which they are studying, certificates of achievements in sports, certificate of religion/caste, domicile certificate and six passport size photographs alongwith them. The candidates with tattoo on any part of body are not eligible to participate in the event.
He said that the selected candidates would be invited for final induction rally at RAJPUT Regimental Centre, Fatehgarh on 13th May, 2013 at 7.00 AM
