To save apple growers from the exploitation of aadthis, the Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board is setting up an apple market at Parwanoo.
Marketing Board is mulling to start it early and mulling to initiate e-tendering for the project in the coming few days. This project will come up with Rs 5.50-crore investment and will be spread on the 92 bighas land, which is owned by the marketing board on the Parwanoo bypass.
The market will have an auction yard, parking facility for almost 300 trucks, offices and all other facilities that are required to run a market like the one at Azadpur in Delhi.
