Shimla: The Meetings of Board of Directors of H.P. State Industrial Development Corporation, General Industries Corporation, H.P. State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation Ltd. and H.P. Khadi and Village Industries Board was held today under the Chairmanship of Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri.
Agnihotri, in a 254th meeting of BoD of State Industrial Development Corporation, announced Dearness Allowance of 6 per cent to the employees of State Industrial Development Corporation from 1st January 2016. Corporation would also provide Good Performance Incentive to its employees at the rate of 8.33 per cent on basic pay, DA and Grade Pay (including statutory bonus) for the financial year 2015-16, to maximum Rs 25,000.
The Corporation had earned a net profit of Rs 8.50 crore during the year 2015-16 as compared to Rs 6.51 crore profit earned during the year 2014-15.
Vice-Chairman of SIDC Atul Sharma urged the Minister to fill up functional posts in the Corporation for ensuring its effective functioning.
General Industries has earned net profit of Rs 546.86
Industry Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, in the 202nd BoD meeting of General Industries Corporation (GIC), announced Additional Dearness Allowance of 6 per cent to its employees with effect from 1st January 2016. In addition it was also decided in the BoD Meeting to provide Good Performance incentive reward to the employees of the Corporation at the rate of 20 per cent of the basic pay subject to the maximum Rs 25,000.
The General Industries Corporation has earned net profit of Rs 546.86 lakh during the financial year ending 31st March, 2016 and during the current financial year the Corporation had earned a net profit of Rs 797.37 crore till November, 2016.
Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation registers sale of Rs 1571 lakh
H.P. State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation Industries Minister registered a sale of Rs.1772.26 lakh upto November, 2016 during the current financial year as compared to Rs 1639.83 lakh during the last year. Himachal Emporium New Delhi had registered a record sale of Rs.470.35 lakh followed by Himachal Emporium at Shimla registering a sale of Rs. 287.72 lakh.
Mukesh Agnihotri, in the 226th Meeting of BoD of Khadi and Village Industries Board today stressed for the need to popularize khadi in a big way so as to make it popular amongst among the common man.
Principal Secretary, Industries R.D. Dhiman, Director Industries, Arun Sharma Managing Director State Financial Corporation, Rajesh Sharma, D.D. Sharma Special Secretary Finance and other senior officers of these Boards also attended these meetings among others.
