Transport Minister G.S. Bali revealed that Nalagarh, Nahan and Parwanoo units of Himachal Road Transport Corporation was going to start new fixed fare buses of JnNURM to be plied by HRTC under MoU with HPBS & City Bus MDA from Nalagarh to Shimla, Poanta to Chandigarh and Chandigarh to Shimla respectively.
Bali said that fixed fare will be charged in these buses, which will be lesser than the existing fare.
Transport Minister said that the fare will be Rs. 120 instead of Rs. 163 from Shimla to Nalagarh, Rs. 105 instead of Rs.143 from Shimla to Barotiwala, Rs.90 instead of 125 from Shimla to Parwanoo/Kalka and Rs. 40 instead of Rs. 64 from Shimla to Solan.
Bali further said that bus fare between Paonta to Chandigarh will be Rs. 130 instead of Rs. 155, Rs. 15 instead of Rs. 20 from Paonta to Majra, Rs. 20 instead of Rs. 26 from Paonta to Dhaulakuan, Rs. 50 in place of Rs.65 from Paonta to Nahan and Rs. 65 in place of Rs. 90 from Paonta to Kalaamb.
He said that this bus fare between Shimla to Chandigarh will be Rs. 145 instead of Rs. 180, Rs. 100 in place of Rs.140 from Shimla to Pinjore, Rs. 90 instead of Rs. 125 from Shimla to Parwanoo/Kalka and Rs. 40 in place of Rs. 64 from Shimla to Solan.
