Una: To chart out strategy for the ensuring monsoon session of the H.P. Vidhan Sabha, the opposition BJP legislatures will meet on August 5.
Leader of the Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal, while addressing reporters here today hinted the BJP was ready to corner the Government on various issues including political vendetta by the ruling Congress leaders against BJP leaders, state government employees, illegal mining and drug peddling would be the main issues that would be raised in the session.
Dhumal blamed the Congress led State Government for petronising land and drug mafia. He claimed the illegal mining was flourishing in the state, especially in border districts. He said while the people in the state and government works were facing shortage of sand and gravel, the material was being illegally mined and smuggled to neighbouring states under political and administrative patronage.
Former Chief Minister said drug mafias were active in the state and the State Government was strangely silent over the issue. He said that Opposition would take up it in the house strongly.
For the ensuring monsoon session of H.P. Vidhan Sabha, the Meeting of State Congress Legislative Party (CLP) will be held on 5th August, 2014 at official residence of Chief Minister at Oak over at 7.00 PM. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will preside over the meeting.
