Manali: To promote tourism on picturesque 475 km Manali-Leh route, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has restarted its deluxe bus service today.
One-way fare of deluxe bus is Rs 2,500, which includes a night’s stay at Keylong, dinner and breakfast, it will reach Leh next day in the evening. The 35-seater deluxe bus will leave Manali twice a week at 9 AM.
This bus service is quite popular among nature lovers, especially the foreigners, and to felicitate them, passenger can also book tickets online.
The bus crosses four high mountain passes in the cold deserts of Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir – Rohtang Pass (13,050 feet), Baralacha Pass (16,020 feet), Lachungla Pass (16,620 feet) and Tanglangla Pass (17,480 feet).
