The Himachal Pradesh Government has revised the rates of daily wages of different categories of workers in Himachal Pradesh.
In a pres statement, a spokesman of the State Government revealed that the rate of daily wagers of various categories working in government departments would be ranging in between Rs.170 to Rs. 440. He said that there were as many as 182 categories to be benefited from this decision.
He said that the per hour rate of part time workers has also been enhanced from Rs. 19 to Rs. 21 per hour with effect from 1st April, 2014. He said that all those engaged on daily wage basis/part time basis in the Tribal areas of the State would be allowed 25 percent enhancement on the revised daily wages.
