BJP veteran leader and former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal denied the allegations of Congress leaders of extending favour to the Himachal Pradesh cricket Association (HPCA) during his tenure as chief minister of the state.
Responding to the allegations made by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, during his election campaign that, DHumal is patron-in-chief of HPCA, which is headed by his parliamentary son Anurag Thakur, he termed it politically motivated.
Leader of Opposition claimed that he never remained HPCA’s patron-in-chief. He stated that Congress and its leaders were trying to misled electorates ahead of the parliamentary election and levelling such frivolous allegations against him.
