BJP Hamirpur candidate Anurag Thakur has served legal notices on Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Congress state president Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Congress candidate Rajinder Singh Rana for using defamatory statements during the ongoing parliamentary campaign.

BJP’s election in-charge in Hamirpur Praveen Sharma informed that Anurag Thakur has sought apology from Congress leaders within one week, failing which he would drag them to the court of law.

Praveen Sharma alleged that the Congress leaders were indulging in character assassination and the BJP would also move to the Election Commission against these Congress leaders for creating a wave of hatred against the party candidate.
