Himachal Pradesh Congress has termed BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s Parivartan Rally at Sujanpur as not upto the claims made by BJP as even after spending crores of rupees to make the rally a hit, BJP was not able to gather enough people for the rally as was claimed by its leaders.
HPCC spokesperson Naresh Chauhan said that before the rally, BJP leaders had claimed that over 2 lakh people would attend the NaMo rally at Sujanpur but the number of people that had gathered at the rally, was far less than it was claimed.
State Congress spokesperson said that Modi in his usual tone showed fake dreams to the people of state and the country and levelled fake allegations against the Congress party leaders.
HPCC spokesperson believed that Modi aura won’t work in Himachal Pradesh. He said that the people of the state had already voted against the BJP despite campaigns by Modi and there would not be any impact on the voters of the state after his rally.
Chauhan said that Modi was making tall claims about eradicating corruption in the country if he becomes the prime minister of the country, however, he didn’t uttered a single word about the corruption that was committed during the regime of former Chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal.
HPCC Spokesperson said that since the state came into being, Himachal had been developed into the leading state in the country due to the policies of the successive Congress governments in the state and at the centre.
