Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed Deepak Sundriyal as new Shimla Urban Congress spokesperson. Deepak is associated with Congress party from his college days and has actively worked from past twelve years for strengthening party base in Shimla urban constituency.
While speaking to the TNH, Sundriyal thanked party state president Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and vowed to propagate the UPA led Govt policies and programme with the common people. He said that all section of the society has been benefited in past ten years of Congress led centre Govt and India has achieved many milestones under Dr. Manmohan Singh leadership.
He also lauded the role of Congress led state government and stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Himachal Pradesh is progressing at good pace. He added that despite hilly and tough topography of Himachal Pradesh, Singh has ensured the development of every nook of corner of the state.
Sundriyal accused BJP for misleading common people and blamed its leaders for twisting facts to blemish the image of Congress party and its leaders. He stated that he along with party workers will dispel the negative propaganda of BJP and will show the masses real picture.
