Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board Chairman Kuldeep Singh Pathania met hundreds of villagers, all oustees of ACC cement factory, at Barmana chowk and promised to take appropriate action against Cement Company.
Kuldeep Pathania assured aggrieved villagers to solve the pollution problem of the area. He ordered officers accompanying him to install a pollution measuring instrument on the spot within a week to ensure that pollution was controlled.
Earlier, villagers protested against the company and alleged that pollution from the Cement Company has made their life hell and accused factory management for ignoring their repeated requests.
Aggrieved villagers asked State Govt, pollution board and Company management to enforce pollution norms otherwise they will approach Court, they threaten.
