Shimla: Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur paid a surprise visit to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital today and interacted with the patients admitted in the hospital. He gave necessary directions to the medical authorities for further improving the services. He also inspected various in-house departments.
Health Minister also met Prakash Chaudhary, Excise and Taxation Minister and inquired about his well being, who has been admitted in IGMC Shimla for treatment.
Kaul Singh Thakur interacted with the doctors attending the Excise and Taxation Minister. He wished speedy recovery to Chaudhary.
Later, Kaul Singh Thakur visited PGIMER, Chandigarh to inquire about well being of Chief Secretary S. Roy. He also held meeting with Director, PGIMER and discussed regarding treatment of S. Roy.
